1.1 Mission Statement
At A Children’s Theatre of the Mesilla Valley (ACT), we believe in the transformative power of theatre to inspire young minds and nurture confident, creative individuals. Through engaging, hands-on theatre experiences, children ages 5 to 18 explore their talents, connect with others, and grow both on stage and in life. ACT is a place where every child is celebrated, encouraged, and empowered. To ensure this opportunity is accessible to all families, ACT offers scholarships and financial assistance, making theatre education possible for every child, regardless of their circumstances.

Theatre challenges kids to be brave, bold, and themselves. At ACT, we empower young people to step into the spotlight—whether they’re shy or outgoing, experienced or brand-new. Our talented and caring instructors help students grow as performers and as people, nurturing their ability to lead, listen, express, and collaborate. The confidence they gain here echoes far beyond the final curtain.
